Criminals don’t follow the plethora of gun laws on the books. The recent shooting at the graduation ceremony establishes that fact. Prosecute criminal's who use firearms to the full extent of the law. Get mental health to those with violent tendencies. Secure vulnerable spaces. We do that for courthouses why not schools?

Really surprised that “common sense gun laws” weren’t mentioned. Anytime that is said, it results in nothing but another attempt to trample Constitutional rights.
There are over 3000 federal statutes dealing with firearms already. Do you really like there is another law that will somehow be the magic pill to solve the issue with folks who have no respect for life?

Just more distraction from record inflation, racist anti-white / anti-asian policies in government, weak foreign policy, boys playing in girls sports and locker rooms, unconstitutional loan forgiveness, anti-semetic / Israel policies, funding Iran and terrorists...
Americans were far better off before Biden and the host of far-left socialist in the White House.

Not one liberal comment addresses the liberal democrats going on trial in November because they are afraid of whats going to happen. They should be afraid because Biden is going to be fired! Let soros spend his millions spewing hate and protests. Those of us who refrain from the behavior of soros will silently place our vote to show Biden the door. It my hope that there are enough people watching this next presidential election that if anything “fishy” appears, it will be dealt with so dead people can’t vote and you can only vote once and if you find cases Of votes tucked away for a rainy day, they are verified to be real. If anyone is afraid of making sure this election is completely above board, please I would question their motives.

This is what Trump's done his entire life , he's made a forture and career manipulating the Courts through Lawsuits , it's just in politics now . How many Construction Co. did he stiff out of their Contracts in Court Rooms, the construction workers didn't get paid , some Companies had to fold due to length and costs of Court cases .
The top Law Enforcer in the United States of America , the President who is the head of the Department of Justice , Homeland Security , FBI , and nominates Federal Judges will be a convicted felon.
Anybody see lawsuits and Appellate Court cases to conflict of interests looming here ?

Trump dealt with COVID by turning over Operation Warp Speed to Mike Pence . No need for Google , that's common knowledge .
The year was 2020 , Trump campaigned the entire year for the 2020 Presidential Election , no need for Google , that's common knowledge too .
The "Fraud , rigged , and illegal.." rhetoric began in June of 2020 , 6 months before the Election , and was repeated over and over(in case he lost) and still is today(he did lose) .
Trump was indeed campaigning when Covid broke out and he did push for vaccines through Operation Warp Speed headed by Mike Pence.
Anyone who was paying attention to the 2020 Election know these things , google isn't required .

Has the city ever seriously considered going back to river water?
When I was going to school at Scott City back in the eighties, our beloved junior high science teacher, Kenneth Aldrich (R.I.P.) was from Cape. He swore by the quality of Cape water. In fact, he refused to drink the Scott City water at all if he could help it. (Though to be fair, Scott City water has always been notoriously hard.) He would even bring a thermos of coffee every day brewed with that precious Cape river water so he didn't have to deal with the sludgy coffee from the teachers' lounge.
Now Cape uses well water too, and as I understand it, the wells are not that far from the Scott City wells. I wonder what Mr. A would think of that?

First thing all politicians campaign constantly. Regardless of party affiliation their campaigning is perpetual.
Second, Trump handed Biden a hot potato (covid) so it is possible there were more deaths under Biden than Trump due mainly to Trump's irresponsible and unforgiveable actions.
Third, Trump on 02-26-2020 "We now have 15 cases of covid which will soon be down to zero". How'd that work out ?
Fourth, how in h*** do you bankrupt a casino without skimming money of the top? I'd say that is virtually impossible.
Fifth, I guess it is just me but I don't think I would be calling a person (Judge Mershon) who literally held my future in his hands crooked, conflicted or anything insulting.
Sixth, Trump repeatedly called Stormy and Cohen liars. He could have easily refuted their testimony by taking the witness stand. Instead he lied countless times saying he would. Sayning he'd love to testify. Surprised? Not me.

MAGA Trump put Republican Vice President Mike Pence in charge of Operation Warp Speed who got vaccines out in record time to help slow the spread of COVID . MAGA Trump was too busy on the campaign trail repeating the election was going to be "fraud , rigged , and illegal.." . Sad enough , he put himself before the People . Even sadder , millions of Americans still believe his rhetoric 4 years later too .

The government decides they don’t like someone and they use everything they can twist to find fault and the sad thing is that several who are throwing the stones have probably done the same thing as they fault Trump of but Trump is a definite threat to their way of life… the Woke crowd, the diversity nuts, the abortion crowd, the pronoun Crowd, the list goes on and on and more and more American are tired of all this malarkey and ready to try to return this great country to its former glory. Biden’s string pullers are set on destroying this country and some of us are equally set to take the country back.

Today's democrats are full of socialists and proud, in-your-face marxists. Many in congress openly claim to be such and this ideology is heavily pushed in our education system at all levels. Divisive, racist, wealth envy and ready for any handouts they can get.
MAGA - make America great again isn't about bringing back slavery and racism (two hallmarks of the democrat party). It's about bringing the country together on our shared values.
I have never understood the MAMA democrats... Make America Miserable Again. Their doing a great job of that.

SEMO is a public school. I believe every public building should have metal detectors or large public areas, like arenas, as a start. Yes, costs will be passed on. But how many new football helmets will it cost? Does the basketball team really need new jerseys every year? Priorities! If the city is going to give SEMO hundreds of thousands of dollars, earmark it for safety.

It’s easy to think that this fiasco is about Trump, and in one sense it is. But stepping back and looking at the bigger picture, it’s clear that this is about a corrupt justice system. All across the country criminals are not being charge and/or set free with no bail. Trump was a threat to that chaotic strategy so he must be stopped. Trump was the first; he won’t be the last until America awakens from her apathetic slumber.

You can't talk reason to a cult of personality. Their infallible leader is never wrong. It impossible for him to lose a election. If he loses, lie and say that it was "rigged". If he is found guilty of a crime the trial, it was also rigged. Trump supporters are already online, threatening to find out who was on the jury, threatening to dox them, murder them and their families. FOR DOING THEIR CIVIC DUTY.
As well as the judge and DA, for enforcing the law. But nobody should be surprised after all they threatened innocent healthcare workers, election officials and other victims. Trump and his supporters are the greatest enemy the United States ever faced.

I agree that the problem is not the guns (except for guns in the wrong hands), but there seems to be an increasing number of young hooligans nowadays who don't think twice about shooting someone if they are the least bit offended or disrespected, and not all of them are mentally ill. Unfortunately, times have changed and metal detectors are going to have to be used more frequently, and stricter laws, less tolerance for gun violence and more jails are needed. The bill Rep. Voss mentioned might help and should be signed by the Governor.
Trump accused Stormy and Cohen of lying in their testimony. Trump was afforded the opportunity to testify thereby refuting their testimony. He chose not to.
He said from the start of the trial he was going to testify. But instead you and others on here swallowed all his lies with glee.
He chickened out....plain and simple.

Holly you are right on the money. Guns are not the problem, people are. The Show Me Center is not a school facility so I don’t believe they are required to have metal detectors. Good idea in the future? No doubt but they will pass the cost on to you, the consumer.

Suggests the uncorrected odds of Biden passing in office due to age during the next term is about 36%. Trump's odds are about 25%. For enquiring minds, a 55-year old entering office would have odds at about 4.4%
Further suggests whatever one's preference, might oughta look harder than usual at their vice-presidential picks given the increased likelihoods of batter-up.
Poses the question of how we ended up with these current choices being the best offerings..

Joe Biden kept top secret documents in his office and garage. He shared the information with a book writer who revealed the top secret information. Biden also stored some of them at the Chinese Institute at Penn State. The FBI in the Department of "Just Us" let Biden's attorneys go through all the files and turn over what they wanted to. Prosecuted??? Nope.
