Hey, y'all! Jamie Lynn and Maddie are going to Grandma's!Friday, June 20, 2008
E! Online reported Friday that Jamie Lynn Spears and babydaddy, er, boyfriend Casey Aldridge will be spending the week at Jamie Lynn's mother's house with their new daughter, Maddie Briann. The couple owns a home in Mississippi, but according to E! will be staying at Lynne Spears' house "to take advantage of the in-house help, which includes father Jamie, brother Bryan and another relative, named Britney." Yeah. Because Lynne and Britney have done such a good job with the other children in their lives. That's exactly the kind of help I (Katherine) would want, too. Perhaps little Jamie Lynn could seek advice from Long Island Mother of the Year Dina Lohan. Wouldn't that be a trian wreck... Of course, she could also turn to Brit's ex, Kevin Federline, who was named Father of the Year earlier this month by Prive, a club at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas. This is a dubious award, to say the least. If there's one thing Vegas knows nothing about, it's parenting. They tried the whole familly-friendly thing and it didn't work out. Why would a club there be giving an award like this? I don't get it. But I digress... At any rate, it's good to know Maddie has a strong, award-winning set of role models. We should all be so lucky.
