Cabala Productions is proud to "Officially" introduce Cape's hottest new band of 2008- Improv of 7 Dying Men The band features members of Fists of Phoenix, Slow Riot, Emaciation, Frogsweat, and Bundle Theory. Originally started as a acoustical side project for singer Daniel Seabaugh. Who was looking for a way to express himself outside of his band Fists Of Phoenix. He did a tour of coffee shops and small venues. To find his music was being excepted by a new audience. As the songs became more know the idea came to him to start adding band members. And the band known as Improv of 7 Dying Men was born.
The band says the group is still a work in progress. And many plans are still underway. Singer Daniel says "I believe the line-up is complete for the time being. We're tossing around the idea of adding foreign instruments and a small group of back up singers, preferably female voices, all of which will come at a much later date." Seabaugh adds "Things are going very well at this point, I honestly couldn't be happier. Every musician in this group knows their stuff and isn't afraid to try new things otherwise not possible, for whatever reason, in previous projects." The band says they will be focusing time and ideas on writing music for now. With hopes of getting into the studio as early as fall. Plans are being made now for the release of Improv of 7 Dying Men's debut EP. Brandon Drury (EchoEcho Studios) is set to produce the effort, and work will begin in the following months with a possible November release. The group has plans for extensive touring shortly after the release. Brandon Drury has been recording, mixing, and mastering music since 2001. He's worked with a wide variety of musicians from the Southeast Missouri area including Mike Renick, Drivin' Rain, Catatonic, Fists of Phoenix, Emaciation, and Promise To Burn to name a few. He is the owner/operator of www.recordingreview.com a site dedicated to improving home recording, and is currently writing a book on the subject. Visit his website at www.echoechostudios.com The band has two upcoming shows; Aug 29 2008 at The Bluebird in St. Louis. And Sept 6 at Bob-A-Rino's in Farmington. A possible Cape Girardeau date could also be announced soon for a late September music festival. You should well expect big things from this new Cape band. And be sure and visit their official online website to keep up with all the latest information and show dates. www.myspace.com/improvof7dyingmen
