America's got debatable talent

After two edited hours of 'talent' acts that at times made me want to move to Canada, Piers, Sharon and The Hoff accepted 13 acts on America's Got Talent.

No one quite brought on the reaction our Neal E. received, but we can't all be Missouri All Stars.

Amid terrible acts (a painting pig in Texas and chubby, uncoordinated pole dancers in Atlanta) the judges gleened an acceptable quota.

They accepted a very country singer, an acrobatic duo, an 11-year-old piano player, Shaolin warriers, a dance team, a dog act, 71-year-old Frank Sinatra (I don't know his real name and it doesn't matter, the dude is Frank Sinatra), a slightly creepy brother-sister salsa dancing couple, a disturbing tall man who drinks milk from a 6-foot straw, a young singer, cloggers from atlanta, a sword swallower, and a 9-year-old with fuzzy hair and an excited singing voice.

The Hoff was shining with one-liners like telling two teens and a pack of K9s that "Your act has gone to the dogs," but the comedicly crass judge award goes to Piers Morgan for telling the painting pig in Dallas that it would be more talented as a bacon sandwich.

Yikes. Can't wait to see what they dig up next week.
