Arrest made in De Soto child's death

DE SOTO, Mo. (AP) — An arrest is made following the death of a 2-year-old eastern Missouri boy.

Stacey Tolbert-Wyatt was not breathing at his home in De Soto Monday morning. Paramedics tried unsuccessfully to resuscitate him. The cause of death is not yet known.

Police confirm an arrest but have not named the suspect because charges have not been filed. Another child was taken from the home and placed in protective custody. Authorities say neither child showed outward signs of abuse.
