Today on seMissourian.com: Election, election election, vote in my poll (and Neal E. Boyd)Tuesday, August 5, 2008
Have you voted yet? I'll be honest here, I haven't gotten down to my polling place today, but I definitely will later. If you haven't voted, and still need some help deciding who you'll drop your ballot for, we have plenty of information for you in our election section to help you decide. Election night is an odd night for reporters and editors: fun and exciting as we track the wonder of the American political system, not-so-fun because we have to work late. We'll be pulling the late shift tonight, monitoring the election results and getting reactions from the winners and losers. You'll be able to find up-to-the-minute election coverage on our home page tonight. Polls close at 7 p.m., so look for the action to start soon after that. And while the rest of us are working the election, features editor Chris Harris will be home watching Neal E. Boyd and Matthew Piazzi on NBC's "America's Got Talent." She'll be live blogging during the show, which starts at 8 p.m., as the contestants battle through Las Vegas to get to the finals. You can join the chat at our Boyd page, "America's Voice," or check out what happened tomorrow.
