Long captures medalist honors

Vickie Long won medalist honors during the Ladies of Kimbeland weekly golf outing.

Harriet Drusch took first in the championship flight, while Dixie Jones topped the A flight.

Jackie Anderson captured first in the B flight and Mary Rose James won the C flight.

Bliss, Lucks qualify for senior amateur

Don Bliss and David Lucks both shot 71s at Dalhousie Golf Club on Thursday to qualify for the U.S.G.A. Senior Amateur.

Gerald Siemons defeated Ted Smith in a playoff to be the first alternate.

Judi Brey and Lisa Bjelich tied for first place in the 18-hole division of the Cape Girardeau Country Club's women's golf outing.
