Eileen Vreeland

OLIVE BRANCH, Ill. — Eileen Browning Vreeland, 86, of Las Vegas and formerly of Olive Branch, Ill., went to be with the Lord Monday, Sept. 1, 2008.

She was born Aug. 4, 1922, in Miller City, Ill.

She was a retired underwriter for Mutual of Omaha. She was a member of the Browning Family Quartet.

She was preceded in death by parents, the Rev. and Mrs. D.C. Morningstar; sisters, Marietta and the Rev. Genevieve Morningstar; and a great-grandson, Austin Godsey.

She is survived by her husband, Ralph Vreeland; three daughters, Brenda (John) Stephens of Oklahoma City, Janet (Dutch) Parish and Marla (Rich) Green, both of Las Vegas; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Service will be held Friday at Palm Mortuary in Las Vegas.
