I know many of you don't read seMissourian.com over the weekend.

However, we have a special feature coming up Sunday that you might want to check out.

The Southeast Missourian is lucky enough to have a great political reporter with a long history of covering Missouri politics on staff — Rudi Keller. And thanks to Rudi's history, he's pretty much followed the careers of our two gubernatorial candidates — Rep. Kenny Hulshof and Missouri Attorney General Jay Nixon — from day one.

Rudi has put that experience to good use this election cycle, crafting two in-depth stories about the men, one of which will be our next governor. This Sunday the two-part series begins with Hulshof, a man with roots in Southeast Missouri who built his reputation as a prosecuting attorney here before moving to central Missouri.

On seMissourian.com we'll have several video clips from an hour-plus interview with Hulshof. In addition to the main story, we'll also have a complete transcript of the interview, a timeline of his career and a biography, and a breakdown of what critics say about Hulshof and the ideas he says he'll implement if elected governor.

This Sunday we'll also post a transcript of the interview Rudi conducted with Nixon and video clips from that interview. Next Sunday the Nixon story and accompanying materials will be posted to the site.

Hey Matt:

Just a FYI: The online Hulshof story doesn't have the subheads. It says 'subhead here' in a couple places. Thought you may want to correct that.
