NEW YORK — Stephen Colbert, the host of Comedy Central's "The Colbert Report," will appear in an issue of Marvel Comics' "The Amazing Spider-Man." As a joke, Colbert tried but failed to get on both the Democratic and Republican presidential primary ballots in his home state of South Carolina. The consolation prize is a fictional appearance as a major candidate on a make-believe ticket in Spider-Man's world.
