Labor Day on the MississippiWednesday, August 27, 2008
For those lucky people that have boats, (of whom I'm incredibly jealous,) here's the heads up on some new laws that will take effect on Thursday, in time for the Labor Day weekend. Boats must drop to an idle speed within 100 feet of an emergency vessel that's displaying flashing lights. Nighttime speed limit of 30 m.p.h. now includes all state waterways. Missouri's legal blood alcohol content for operating a vessel drops to .08% from .10%. This info comes from the Missouri Water Patrol. Have a safe and happy Labor Day!
