I'm back baby!

After two edited hours of 'talent' acts that at times made me want to move to Canada, Piers, Sharon and The Hoff accepted 13 acts on America's Got Talent.
No one quite brought on the reaction our Neal E. received, but we can't all be Missouri All Stars.

The Mike Renick Band will have their new, full-length CD hit stores this Thursday.
After a solo project by Mike and the band's Studio Sessions in 2004, "Lucky One" is already available on iTunes and will be at PMac and Hastings, among other places on Thursday when they get shipped in.

A few weeks ago Matt Sanders opened up his blog to comments about semissourian.com in general. I'd like to do the same thing here, but focus on our online arts coverage.

Last week in SE Live we told you Five filmmaker groups submitted entries to the 48 Hour Film Project in St. Louis.

Yes. There is a skateboarding park in Cape Girardeau. And people use it. And those people have taken up a grass root effort to improve the place and even expand the equipment or move the thing altogether.
The Cape Girardeau Skate Park Association has planned another skateboard competition for next weekend (June 22).
