The Live and In-Person Blowout

This past Thursday I had the opportunity to see a Cardinals game in St. Louis with my mom, dad, and brother. I don't usually go to more than one game a year. Going twice is a good year. Going three times in one year is about as likely as a member of the Chicago Cubs not making the 2008 All-Star team.

I couldn't help but go off on a bit of a tangent before I get into this week's topic. I was checking the baseball schedule on Sunday and found that the Cubs and White Sox had the Sunday night game. I thought to myself, Okay, cool, Cubs versus White Sox.

Dad, Do You Remember…?

I started paying attention to baseball when I was around four years old, or at least those are my earliest memories of the game. I distinctly remember being particularly fascinated by Jack Buck's call of a "ball in the dirt.
