Doctor attends program on spine in California
Dr. Kevin A. Vaught, with the Brain and NeuroSpine Clinic of Missouri, recently attended an invitation-only program titled "Global Spine" in San Francisco. The program educated and trained surgeons in the use of Medtronic products for the treatment of spine disorders. While 113 physicians from around the world attended the program, Vaught was the only one from Missouri. He has offices in Cape Girardeau and Perryville, Mo.
First State Community Bank has announced that Kelly Owens has joined the staff as the new branch manager and assistant vice president at the 1602 N. Kingshighway location. Owens brings 24 years banking experience with her, and was last employed at the First State Community Bank location in Malden, Mo., as branch manager. First State Community Bank is expanding in Cape Girardeau with a new location in August. The bank is owned and operated by First State Bancshares, Inc. in Farmington, Mo.
Dr. Aaron Andrews, a chiropractic neurologist in Cape Girardeau, has been selected by the Consumers Research Council of America and his peers as one of America's top chiropractors for 2004. The selection process is based on education, years in practice, affiliations with professional associations, specialty board certifications and community service. Andrews practices in the Pillar Chiropractic Physicians Centre.
