Auction, dinner planned at La Croix on Tuesday

La Croix United Methodist Church will hold a silent auction and dinner fund-raiser at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday to benefit student ministries' summer mission trip. The porch will be decorated in the style of a 1940s diner, with food to match. The entertainment will be provided by The Replica Trio, performing music from the World War II era. Items to be auctioned include four tickets to see "American Idol Live" in St. Louis, a baseball autographed by Stan Musial, a king-size quilted bedspread and more. Tickets can be purchased at guest services during business hours or after the weekend services.
