Redhawks swept by Missouri StateThursday, October 12, 2006Missouri State put away Southeast Missouri State 30-23, 30-12, 30-15 on Tuesday night at Houck Field House. The Bears ran their record to 14-4, while Southeast fell back to .500 at 10-10. For the Redhawks, senior setter Jamie Baumstark had 21 assists and freshman middle blocker Hannah Weis had six kills. Freshman libero Taylor Harbster had 14 digs while senior Jessica Koeper added 12 and freshman Molly Davis had 10. Southeast led 11-9 in the first game before Missouri State went on a 21-12 spree. The Bears took a 12-3 lead in the second game and opened an 11-1 advantage in the third. Southeast returns to Ohio Valley Conference action 7 p.m. Friday at Murray State. |
