Cape Senior Babe Ruthsweeps Chaffee

The Cape Girardeau Senior Babe Ruth team swept a doubleheader against the Chaffee 16-year-old team on Thursday at Capaha Field.

Cape won the first game 13-9 and the nightcap 12-1 in five innings. Cape improved to 3-0.

Nick Ostendorf pitched all seven innings in the opener, and Abe Dirnberger added two hits.

Justin Myers picked up the win in the second game, and Jacob Valleroy and Logan Glueck had two hits apiece.
