St. Vincent girls roll past Meadow HeightsTuesday, December 18, 2007Lacey Siegmund led the way for St. Vincent, scoring a team-high nine points and grabbing 10 rebounds as the Indians rolled past Meadow Heights 51-30 in a girls basketball game Monday night in Perryville.
Brooke Brown (eight points, seven rebounds) and Kelsey Cissell (eights points, eight rebounds) also played well.
The Indians took a 12-7 lead after the first quarter, led by 11 points at halftime and never looked back.
Amanda Hendrickson had a game high 11 points in the losing effort for the visiting Panthers.

The Indians rallied from an 11-point third-quarter deficit to beat the host Mules.
Kelci Keith hit three fourth-quarter 3-pointers and finished with 13 points, while Ashten Howard scored 14
to lead Jackson (4-2).
The Indians took their first lead with 5:37 left in the fourth quarter on a 3 by Keith. Leading by a point, the Indians got a pair offensive rebounds before kicking the ball out to Keith for a 3-pointer with 1:22 to go.

Notre Dame's Brittany Menz had a strong day in the pool, winning the 200 freestyle (2:05.06), 100 freestyle (58.81) and helping her 200 medley relay team to a first-place finish as the Bulldogs posted a win.
Cailin McGinnis competed well for the Indians, winning the 100 butterfly (1:06.2) and 100 breaststroke (1:16.69).

Is there a reason why Chaffee girls basketball scores aren't submitted to the paper? None of the last 3 games played have been reported. The first 3 games were reported but none since then. Win or lose an effort is given and recognition is nice.
