scott city shouldn't be proud of beating chaffee in two overtimes, they should have beat them by 20-30 points. They only used 5 players the whole game if they can't (the 5 players) get the job done then use the bench that is what you have them far- there is alot of wasted talent on that bench everyone is saying that.
Scott City actually used 7 players but two did not see alot of playing time. No one knows what goes on in practice so it hard to judge why some kids don't play on any team. Chaffee always plays Scott City hard and they have some good talent on their team. They play well together. Scott City still isn't playing at their potential and still isn't passing the ball to the open player on the court. There is only seconds when a player is open and they are still missing this time frame. If the guards would close in and pass the ball around closer to the goal instead of staying beyond the 3 point line they might make better passes. Scott City is a better team than how they are playing but some are still worried about their own stats to really help out. These players are not going on to play at a big college and should be concerned about making their last years the best and working together as a team to win. When they decide to do this they will be a winning team and compete with really goods teams. In years to come no one is going to remember individuals but they will remember team records and accomplishments.
they actually should. chaffee is a talented team. jerrod stegor and andy hendrix are pretty good. and adam horton can stroke the three but he never gets shots. chaffees district is wide open and they can take it. scott city is a very, very talented team and there was a good atmosphere at the game. both pep clubs were loud and it was a good game
Jay Simmons truely is an unbelievable player, who learned from one of the greeatest coaches--Paul Hale. It is such a shame that he chose to switch to Scott City. He would have made an unstoppable Notre Dame team this year.
Wow, I guess you have an altar at home to honor Simmons too. If you didn't notice, when he went to Scott City, he was barely any better than players like Caleb Estes and Alex King. Maybe you need to look at the stats again
