Due to inclement weather, offices will be closed all day, and all classes are cancelled for today, Thursday, Feb. 21. Southeast's regional campuses in Kennett, Sikeston and Malden, along with the Perryville Higher Education Center, will be closed all day as well. Kent Library on the Cape Girardeau campus, however, will open at 11 a.m. today.
A presentation called "The Moral and Community Connection Between Islam and Christianity" set for tonight has been canceled. Another presentation, "Remembering the Road to Brown: Four Social Engineers in the Fight for Civil Rights," is postponed until a later date.

Due to Icy Road Conditions Non- Emergency Personnel Report to Work at 10 a.m.
The City of Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department has canceled its Monthly Dance and Junior Chef cooking class tonight. The dance is rescheduled for March 20.
The City of Cape Girardeau is urging citizens to limit travel to only necessary trips as the impending storm moves through the Cape Girardeau area. Road crews are working diligently to clear roads, though City officials are also suggesting businesses to delay opening if at all possible.

Trash collection will continue as usual in Jackson. The city has added an additional truck because the slick roads are delaying collection. The city's recycling center will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
