The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

  • Andrew J. Sales Jr., of Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene of an accident and possession of a controlled substance.
  • Blake A. Hopper, 25, 1761 Pemiscot St., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

Arrests

  • Rico F. Lucious, 18, 1110 W. Mount Drive, Unit 101, was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
  • Melissa A. Morton, 27, of Campbell, Mo., was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.
  • Chatiquita S. Townsend, 23, 256 S. Benton St., Unit 3, was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault and armed criminal action.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of domestic assault and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of domestic assault and assault.

Summonses

  • Michael J. Flynn, 24, of St. Louis received a summons for assault at 1127 Broadway.
  • James E. Gregory, of Oak Ridge received a summons for following too close.
  • Alexander D. Shell no age given, 2322 Bellebridge Pike, received a summons for failure to drive on the right half of the roadway.
  • David W. McKee Jr., 21, no address given, received a summons for prohibited acts, noises, and interfering with an arrest.

Burglary

  • A burglary was reported at 1127 S. Ellis St.

  • Amerimart, 1320 W. Cape Rock Drive, reported the theft of gasoline.
  • An employee of China Star, 3049 William St., reported being robbed at 1127 S. Ellis St.

The Jackson Police Department released the following items.
