The Plaza Tire Capahas entered play Tuesday night having lost two straight games.
They took out their frustrations on the Charleston Riverdogs, exploding for a 20-2 road victory.
Plaza Tire, which improved to 10-7, has won 38 of 39 all-time meetings with the Riverdogs.
The Capahas banged out 17 hits, led by Matt Wagner, Kendal Deason and Sean Bard with three apiece. Tom Bolen, Drew Pixley and Garrett Stevens all added two hits.
Wagner and John Amschler both had four RBIs, followed by Deason and Brad LaBruyere with three each.
Dustin Hunter was the winning pitcher, striking out 12 and walking none over seven innings. He allowed eight hits and two runs, with both runs and six hits coming in the first two innings.
Matt Carter struck out three in the eighth inning, while Josh Parham fanned two in the ninth as Plaza Tire pitchers combined for 17 strikeouts.
The Capahas return to action Friday at the Valmeyer (Ill.) tournament.
