Ella M. Lynch, 95, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, March 23, 2005, at the Lutheran Home.

She was born March 15, 1910, in St. Louis, daughter of Almon R. and Clara L. Haywood Lewis. She and James C. Lynch were married Oct. 6, 1932. He died Nov. 12, 1996.

Lynch was a licensed practical nurse many years at St. Francis Hospital. She was a member of Old St. Vincent's Catholic Church, and was a volunteer with Southeast Missouri Hospital Auxiliary and the Glenn House.

Survivors include two sons, James Lynch of St. Charles, Mo., John Lynch of Olive Branch, Miss.; a daughter, Elizabeth Mueller of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Eula Young of Metropolis, Ill.; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by an infant son and four brothers.

Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday.

Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Old St. Vincent's Church, with the Rev. Tom Kiefer officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
