'Art for Animals' benefits AWA

POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. -- Artfully Framed will sponsor "Art for Animals," benefiting the Animal Welfare Alliance. Participating artists will paint a 5-by-7-inch canvas, available now, and bring it back to Artfully Framed by May 6. The store will frame the artwork and display it starting May 13, when a wine and hors d'oeuvres reception at the gallery kicks off two weeks of silent-auction bidding on the paintings. Entries will also be posted on the Artfully Framed Facebook page. Winners will be announced at a May 27 reception. For information on the rules and entry fee, call the store during business hours at 573-785-6178.
