There will be a shower for Birthright Saturday, May 7, from 1-3 pm at the Osage Centre. Birthright is a non-profit, interdenominational center for women finding themselves in an unplanned pregnancy. There will be a shower for Birthright Saturday, May 7, from 1-3 pm at the Osage Centre. Birthright is a non-profit, interdenominational center for women finding themselves in an unplanned pregnancy. New items needed for their layettes are: newborn diapers, baby wipes, Enfamil formula (Premium Infant, ProSobee, Enfacare, AR, or Gentlease), baby wash & lotion, receiving blankets, towels & wash cloths, 8 oz bottles and newborn/0-3 m clothing. The layettes are give to moms just before they deliver their baby. Anyone making a donation in honor of a mother will be offered a Mother's Day card. Volunteers from the center will be available to answer questions. Refreshments will be provided and there will be door prizes, a quilt raffle, entertainment by children's groups. A program will be presented at 2:30 including a talk by a Birthright representative and a Birthright MOM.
