Lewis - Vogelweid

Howard and Ellen Lewis of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Louise Lewis, to Eric Joseph Vogelweid. He is the son of Gary and Cathy Vogelweid of Auxvasse, Mo.

Lewis is a 2006 graduate of Jackson High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in elementary education from the University of Missouri in 2009, and a master of education in learning, teaching and curriculum in 2010. She is a third grade teacher at Pierremont Elementary School in Manchester, Mo.

Vogelweid is a 2004 graduate of Hamilton Southeastern High School in Fishers, Ind. He received a bachelor of science and master of accountancy from the University of Missouri in 2009. He is a certified public accountant at Boone County Hospital in Columbia, Mo.

A July 21 wedding is planned at St. John Lutheran Church in Pocahontas.
