Cape Girardeau police are investigating a fire that damaged four vehicles early Friday morning in the 2700 block of Lynwood Hills Drive.
A neighbor called 911 about 1:15 a.m. Friday to report the fire, said Cpl. Darin Hickey of the Cape Girardeau Police Department.
Emergency workers arrived to find two cars burning, Hickey said.
The Cape Girardeau Fire Department put out the fire, which damaged two other vehicles, Hickey said.
He said all of the vehicles were parked outside.
The cause of the fire remained under investigation Friday afternoon, Hickey said.
"We just don't know yet" what started the blaze, he said. "It's very early."
