Mildred "Millie" Limbaugh, 74, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, March 2, 2000, at her home.

Born Oct. 13, 1925, in Searcy, Ark., she was the daughter of Glenn A. and Retha Russell Armstrong.

On May 21, 1949, she married Rush H. Limbaugh Jr. He died Dec. 8, 1990.

She graduated from Kennett High School in 1943 and worked as a secretary at Malden Air Force Base during World War II.

She attended Southeast Missouri State University for two years.

Limbaugh sang professionally for a short time in Chicago and was a member of the church choir at Centenary Methodist Church for many years. She was also a member of Cape Choraliers

Limbaugh was a former committeewoman for the Cape Girardeau Women's Republican Club and a member of P.E.O. chapter GF.

She was a former member of Cape Girardeau Area '99s Women's Pilot organization.

She is survived by two sons, Rush Limbaugh III and David Scott Limbaugh, and two grandaughters.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel.

Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Centenary Methodist Church. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
