DUDLEY, Mo. -- Osa E. Stanfill, 88, of Dudley died Monday, March 26, 2001, at Charlevoit Health Care Center in St. Charles, Mo. She was born Jan. 28, 1913, at Poe, Mo., daughter of John W. and Ivy Elizabeth Cooper Riley. She and Sylvester Stanfill were married Jan. 2, 1930, at Bloomfield, Mo. He died March 11, 1980...

DUDLEY, Mo. -- Osa E. Stanfill, 88, of Dudley died Monday, March 26, 2001, at Charlevoit Health Care Center in St. Charles, Mo.

She was born Jan. 28, 1913, at Poe, Mo., daughter of John W. and Ivy Elizabeth Cooper Riley. She and Sylvester Stanfill were married Jan. 2, 1930, at Bloomfield, Mo. He died March 11, 1980.

Stanfill had lived at Dudley since 1941, and had been in St. Charles a year. She had attended Second General Baptist Church in Dexter, Mo.

Survivors include three sons, Roy Stanfill of St. Charles, Trentis Stanfill of High Ridge, Mo., Ralph Stanfill of Geneseo, Ill.; two daughters, Patsy Kennedy of Overland, Mo., Marilyn Minter of Bridgeton, Mo.; a sister, Opal Chadwell of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 3-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Donald Clark officiating. Burial will be in Bernie Cemetery at Bernie, Mo.
