JACKSON, Mo. -- John Douglas Tanner, 37, of Jackson died Saturday, Aug. 25, 2001, in Cape Girardeau. He was born Aug. 7, 1964, in Cape Girardeau, son of Norman Earl and Barbara Sue Beggs Tanner. Tanner was a painter for Robert Boitnott Painting. Survivors include his mother of Jackson; two sons, Jonathon and Stephen Tanner, both of Jackson; four brothers, Mike Tanner of Marshall, Texas, and Norman, Jimmy and Keith Tanner, all of Cape Girardeau...

JACKSON, Mo. -- John Douglas Tanner, 37, of Jackson died Saturday, Aug. 25, 2001, in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Aug. 7, 1964, in Cape Girardeau, son of Norman Earl and Barbara Sue Beggs Tanner.

Tanner was a painter for Robert Boitnott Painting.

Survivors include his mother of Jackson; two sons, Jonathon and Stephen Tanner, both of Jackson; four brothers, Mike Tanner of Marshall, Texas, and Norman, Jimmy and Keith Tanner, all of Cape Girardeau.

Friends may call from noon to 2 Tuesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel at Scott City, Mo.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral chapel. The Rev. Raymond Oxford will officiate. Burial will be in Lightner Memorial Cemetery at Scott City.
