ZALMA, Mo. -- Clarence Coats, 92, of Zalma died Saturday, Aug. 25, 2001, at Three Rivers South Medical Center at Poplar Bluff.

He was born Nov. 22, 1908, in Bollinger County, the son of William H. and Hattie Trafford Coats.

Coats was a retired farmer.

Survivors include a sister, Thelma Duniphan of Zalma.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, a half brother, a sister and two half sisters.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Brush Creek Cemetery near Zalma. Morgan Funeral Chapel at Advance, Mo., is in charge of arrangements.
