CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Constance "Connie" Carolyn Grear, 78, of Carbondale died Friday March 3, 2000, at her home. She was born Jan. 2, 1922, at Cobden, daughter of Ernest Paul and Wilma A. Theis Grabow. She was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church. Survivors include a son, Sam Grear of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Frances Burlis of St. Charles, Mo., Dora Schrock of Cape Girardeau and Evelyn Heider of Webster Groves, Mo.; and two grandchildren...

CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Constance "Connie" Carolyn Grear, 78, of Carbondale died Friday March 3, 2000, at her home.

She was born Jan. 2, 1922, at Cobden, daughter of Ernest Paul and Wilma A. Theis Grabow.

She was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church.

Survivors include a son, Sam Grear of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Frances Burlis of St. Charles, Mo., Dora Schrock of Cape Girardeau and Evelyn Heider of Webster Groves, Mo.; and two grandchildren.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at Jonesboro Cemetery, with the Rev. David Eidson officiating.
