JONESBORO, Ill. -- Frances L. Mason, 58, died Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2000, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Feb. 9, 1942, in Union County, Ill., daughter of Claude and Sophronia Harwood McRaven. She married Richard Mason, who died in 1999.

Mason was a home health caregiver.

Survivors include two sons, Allen and Wes Penrod of Cobden, Ill.; her mother of Jonesboro; three brothers, Howard and David McRaven of Jonesboro, Allen McRaven of Anna, Ill.; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father and a sister.

Friends may call at Hileman and Parr Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Jonesboro Cemetery.
