JACKSON, Mo. -- Funeral for Irene Elizabeth Horrell of Howe, Texas, was held Aug. 29, 2000, at Flesher Funeral Home in Howe. Bob Layman officiated. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Horrell, 89, died Sunday, Aug. 27, 2000, at her home. She was born Oct. 10, 1910, in Henderson County, Tenn., daughter of James and Mary Dellaney Runions. She and Joel Horrell were married Feb. 7, 1942, in Michigan. He died in June 1989...

Horrell, 89, died Sunday, Aug. 27, 2000, at her home.

She was born Oct. 10, 1910, in Henderson County, Tenn., daughter of James and Mary Dellaney Runions. She and Joel Horrell were married Feb. 7, 1942, in Michigan. He died in June 1989.

Horrell attended St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sherman, Texas.

Survivors include two daughters, Patricia George and Sue Grant of Howe; two sons, Jim Turner of Jackson, Dan Horrell of Dallas, Texas; 20 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons.
