JONESBORO, Ill. -- Funeral for Wanda Moore of Jonesboro will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Hileman and Parr Funeral Home. Mark Laster will officiate. Burial will be in Jonesboro Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. today.
Moore, 83, died Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2000, at Carbondale Memorial Hospital in Carbondale, Ill.
She was born Jan. 31, 1917, in Cobden, Ill., daughter of Logan Franklin and Ollie Rhodes Winn. She and Glenn Jackson Moore were married Sept. 13, 1935, in Jonesboro.
Moore retired from the dietary department at Southern Illinois University. She was a member of Walnut Grove Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Wayne and Jack Moore of Cobden, Frank Moore of Anna, Ill.; a daughter, Barbara Norton of Alto Pass, Ill.; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister.
