Jesse J. Angle, 80, of 1720 Independence, Cape Girardeau, died Monday, Nov. 23, 1998, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

He was born June 27, 1918, son of Jesse A. and Tisha Limbaugh Angle in Scopus. He married Blanche L. Dillingham April 16, 1950, in Cape Girardeau. She survives.

He had been an engineer with a towboat company on the Ohio River, retiring in 1983. He was a member of Hobbs Chapel, St. Mark's Lodge in Cape Girardeau and was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member Hobbs Chapel Men's Club.

Survivors include, two sons, Larry Drum of Cape Girardeau and Bill Drum of Litchfield, Ill.; five sisters, Maggie Howell of Arkansas, Lola Angle of Marble Hill, Viola Kinder of Delta, Flora Mouser and Louise Williams, both of Granite City, Ill.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel, with a Masonic service at 7 o'clock conducted by St. Mark's Lodge.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. J. Michael Davis officiating.

Burial will be Hobbs Chapel Cemetery.
