Anna Lena Roth, 101, of Cape Girardeau, died Tuesday, Nov. 24, 1998, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Aug. 21, 1897, in Altenburg, daughter of Heinz and Anna Wichern Richter. She married Joseph A. Roth Oct. 15, 1914, in Altenburg. He died in 1978.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church since 1942, an honorary member of Ladies Senior Aid at the church and VFW Post 3838 Ladies Auxiliary. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include two daughters, Leona A. King and Shirley A. Busche, both of Cape Girardeau; 19 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and 24 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four sons and three sisters.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. David Dissen officiating.

Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
