St. Louis -- Kittye Miller, 94, of St. Louis died Friday, Nov. 27, 1998, at the Memorial Nursing Home in St. Louis.

She was born April 21, 1904, at Wyatt, daughter of Henry and Minnie Vowles Johnson.

She taught in public schools in St. Louis and Southeast Missouri before her retirement.

She married Lloyd Miller. He died in 1965.

Survivors include two sons, Robert Miller of St. Louis and Donald Miller of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; two sisters, Hester Atkins and Marjorie Ball, both of St. Louis; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary in St. Louis from 3 to 9 p.m. Monday.

Funeral will be at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

The Rev. Christiane Maurer-Batjer will officiate. Burial will follow in the Laurel Hills Cemetery in North St. Louis County.
