SCOTT CITY -- Scotty Dale Reed, 29, of Jackson, formerly of Scott City, died Monday, March 4, 1996, at his home. He was born Feb. 6, 1967, in Cape Girardeau, son of Shelby Junior and Murline Ann Smith Reed. Reed had lived in Jackson a year. Survivors include his parents of Scott City; a brother, Jerry Reed of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Becky Rice of Jackson, Marie Higginbothan and Donna Welsh of Cape Girardeau; maternal grandmother, Opal Cassout of Scott City, and paternal grandmother, Bessie Hitt of Jackson.. ...SCOTT CITY -- Scotty Dale Reed, 29, of Jackson, formerly of Scott City, died Monday, March 4, 1996, at his home.

He was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City after 5 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with Larry Arnold officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery.
