DEXTER -- Helen Madden, 85, of Dexter died Sunday, March 24, 1996, at Dexter Memorial Hospital.

She was born May 13, 1910, to Thomas Jefferson and Helen McCoy Madden in Pittsburgh.

She married Udell Stephen Madden in Pittsburgh. He died May 22, 1969.

She lived in Dexter the past four years but had lived in New Lenox, Ill., the previous 43 years.

Survivors include a daughter, Elizabeth Tucker of Dexter; a brother William Danner of Kennerdell, Pa.; a sister Margaret Barnard of Bloomfield, Colo.; and two grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at Maplewood Cemetery in New Lenox Wednesday at 2 p.m., with the Rev. James Nixon officiating.

Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter is in charge of arrangements.
