SIKESTON -- Dorothy M. Childers, 68, of Sikeston, died Friday, Aug. 19, 1994, at Hunter Acres Caring Center.

She was born July 27, 1926, in Tyler, daughter of Julius E. and Ida Lee Holmes Hundhausen. She and Paul Childers were married April 17, 1966, in East Prairie.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Ed Pike Jr. of Sikeston, Danny Pike of Memphis, Tenn.; two daughters, Judi Atherton of Dexter, Bobbi Pike of Sikeston; a foster brother, Billy Abshire of Union City, Tenn.; a foster sister, Ruby Neeley of Lockhart, Texas, and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel after 5 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Kelley Grubbs officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
