K.C. Martin and his wife have returned from Memphis, Tenn., to assume operations of Cafe Cape, in The Crossroads, at Independence and Kingshighway.

The Martins are the third owners of the restaurant, which opened in December 1990 as Mr. B's.

The restaurant will focus on a new menu and new hours.

"We're looking at home-style cooking for lunch and dinner," said Martin, who operates the restaurant with his wife, Stephanie. "We're testing the market."

The restaurant will still offer breakfast, lunch and dinner menus, including steaks, pastas and sandwiches.
