CHAFFEE -- Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Glastetter of Chaffee recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a dinner in Cape Girardeau.

Hosts were their children and spouses. Guests attended from Chaffee, Cape Girardeau, Jackson, Leopold, St. Louis, St. Clair and Winfield.

Glastetter and Shirley Holtkamp were married Feb. 20, 1950, at St. Mary's Cathedral in Cape Girardeau, by the Rev. Rudolph Beckman. He is the son of the late Edward and Coletta Glastetter of New Hamburg. Mrs. Glastetter is the daughter of the late George and Francis Holtkamp of St. Louis and Chaffee.

Glastetter has farmed in the Chaffee area more than 40 years. Mrs. Glastetter received a degree in nursing from Southeast Missouri State University in 1985. She continues in her career.

Their children and spouses are: Clyde Glastetter and Nancy Kelly of Cape Girardeau, Judy and Rich Baker of Jackson, Nancy and Keith Carr and Lori Glastetter of Chaffee, and Ted and Theresa Glastetter of New Hamburg.

Their grandchildren are: Ben Baker of St. Louis, Tony Baker of Columbia, Matt Glastetter of Benton, Samatha and Adam Glastetter of Chaffee, Kate and Megan Glastetter of New Hamburg.
