Some of the top names in Southeast Missouri State University basketball history -- male and female -- will be on display tonight during the fourth annual SEMO Alumni Shootout.

This year, for the first time ever, former Southeast women's hoop standouts will be included to make for a coed game.

Action begins at 7 p.m. in the Cape Girardeau Central High Tiger Field House. Tickets, priced at $3, are available at both Schnucks stores in Cape Girardeau. Proceeds will go to the Cape Girardeau Civic Center.

In addition to the new twist of a coed game, there will also be a 3-point halftime shootout featuring boys and girls basketball players from Central, Notre Dame and Jackson high schools.

"We believe the new format this year, with the coed game and also the 3-point halftime shootout, will be really exciting," said event chairman Fred Pennington.
