Craig Joseph, an assistant physics professor at Southeast Missouri State University, will host a viewing of Comet Hyakutake tonight through Tuesday night from 9-11 p.m. at Cherokee Park near Shelter No. 2.

In case of cloudy or inclement weather, the comet cannot be seen so no public viewing will be held, Joseph said. In good weather conditions the comet can be seen without telescopes or binoculars.
