SIKESTON -- Brittany Paige McDonald, 15, recently was crowned Miss Missouri Teen All American 1996 in St. Louis.

She was chosen from a field of 55 entrants, ages 13-19, from all over the state of Missouri. McDonald competed in the evening gown, swimsuit and interview portions of the contest.

In her new position, she will receive an all-expense-paid trip to Miami, Fla., this summer, where she will compete against young women from across the United States for the Miss Teen All American title.

She also received $1,000 cash, a fur coat, luggage, a watch, a collection of Fredricka Leone pageant shoes and personalized stationery.

McDonald is a freshman at Sikeston Junior High School, where she is a two-time NCA All-American cheerleader, plays tenor saxophone in the marching and jazz bands, is on the student council and is a member of the yearbook and newspaper staff.

McDonald is the 1995 Junior Miss Sikeston Jaycee Bootheel Rodeo and the reigning Junior Miss Sikeston.
