JACKSON -- Catherine Jo Olinger and David Christopher Borst were united in marriage Sept. 4, 1999, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City. The Rev. Mark Binder performed the double ring ceremony. Lector was Becky Schatz of Kansas City.

Organist was Steve Kuper; flutist was Holly Presley and clarinetist was Leigh Ann Johnson, both cousins of the bride, and all of Malden.

Donald and Cecilia Olinger of Campbell are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Charles and Sandra Borst of Jackson.

Matron of honor was Donna Conaway of Cape Girardeau, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Holly Presley, Leigh Ann Johnson, and Cassindra Borst of Jackson, sister of the groom.

The groom chose Ryan McClard of Jackson as best man. Groomsmen were Shawn Gramlisch of Marble Hill, Don Jacobs of Jackson, and Michael Olinger, brother of the bride. Ushers were Richard Conaway of Cape Girardeau, brother-in-law of the bride, and Chuck Borst of Altenburg, brother of the groom.

Candlelighters were Heather Launius of Rockford, Ill., cousin of the bride, and Terri Gramlisch of Marble Hill.

Flower girl and ringbearer were Samantha and Jonathan Borst of Altenburg, niece and nephew of the groom.

Karen George of Malden, cousin of the bride, and Laura McClard of Jackson attended the guest book.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the parish center.

The bride is a 1988 graduate of Campbell High School, and a 1990 graduate of Three Rivers Community College in Poplar Bluff. She is a billing assistant at LDD Inc. in Cape Girardeau.

The groom is a 1993 graduate of Jackson High School. He is switch manager at LDD Inc.

After a wedding trip to Key West, Fla., the couple resides in Jackson.
