JACKSON -- Kristi Lee Hardy and Bradley Scott Meyr exchanged vows Jan. 8, 2000, at St. Paul Lutheran Church. The Rev. David Johnson performed the double ring ceremony. Organist was Susan Ludwig of Jackson, aunt and godmother of the groom. Soloist was JoLeta Ludwig of Jackson, cousin of the groom.

The bride is the daughter of Robert Hardy and Nancy Hardy of Jackson. The groom is the son of Ronald and Janice Meyr of Jackson.

Carmen Smith of Jackson was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Melanie Riehn and Chris Thorne of Jackson; Amy Goetz of Cape Girardeau, cousin of the groom; and Tori Allen of Jackson.

The groom chose Matt Richter of Jackson as best man. Groomsmen were Josh Meyr of Spartanburg, S.C., brother of the groom; Shannon Hardy of Jackson, brother of the bride; Kevin Goetz of Cape Girardeau, cousin of the groom; and David Mirly of New Madrid. Ushers were Travis Steffens of Perryville and Brian Schlichting of Altenburg, cousins of the groom.

Candlelighters were Jena Mabry of Altenburg, sister of the groom, and Amanda Lange of Jackson, cousin of the bride.

Flower girls were Chelsea Eatherton, niece of the groom, and Alexis Engelhart, godchild of the bride. Chelsea is the daughter of Ben and Penny Eatherton of Pocahontas. Alexis is the daughter of Paul and Carol Engelhart of Jackson. Ringbearer was Cody Schoenebeck, son of Paula Meyr of Cape Girardeau and nephew of the groom.

Jennifer Alexander of Austin, Texas, cousin of the bride, attended the guest book.

Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance was held at Jackson Knights of Columbus Hall. Servers were Glenda Nations of Jackson, godmother of the bride; Penny Eatherton and Paula Meyr, sisters of the groom.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Jan. 7 at the Knights of Columbus Hall, with 70 guests attending.

Mrs. Meyr is a 1997 graduate of Jackson High School, and is pursuing a bachelor of science degree in nursing. She is employed in the Obstetrics Department at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

The groom is a 1990 graduate of Jackson High school. He received a bachelor of science degree in agri/business from Southeast Missouri State University in 1994. He is employed by Rocky Shumer Construction in Perryville.

After a wedding trip to Ocho Rios, Jamaica, the couple resides in Jackson.
