McCLURE, Ill. Kenneth D. Phillips Jr., son of Mr. and Ms. Kenneth D. Phillips of McClure, this month received a doctor of medicine degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine.

Phillips completed medical school at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria.

Phillips will enter a residency program in family practice at the University of Illinois Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
