Karl Wayne Busche, 80, of Cape Girardeau passed away Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2020, at his home surrounded by family.

He was born Nov. 26, 1939, in Cape Girardeau to the late Clifford Alvo and Carrie Marie Foeste Busche.

Karl and Ruby Rush were married March 9, 2002.

Karl worked at the Missouri Dry Dock for 60 years. He was a member of the Eagles Aerie 3775 in Cape Girardeau and loved to garden and go fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Ruby Busche of Cape Girardeau; son, Ron (Lisa) Busche of Jackson; daughters, Sharon (Rusty) Biggs of Carbondale, Illinois, and Amy (Robbie) Ralls of Jonesboro, Illinois; stepson, Richard (Nicki) Stevens of Puxico, Missouri; stepdaughter, Vickie Stevens of Chaffee, Missouri; grandchildren, Jacob Busche, Sydnie and Torie Ralls, Mollie Biggs; stepgrandchildren, Olivia (Colton) Harbison, Alyson and Krysta Stevens; great-grandchildren, Oaklynn and Harrison Busche; great-stepgrandchildren, Kathlene, Hazleigh and Aleena Harbison; brother, Bobby Joe (Shirley) Busche of Cape Girardeau; sister, Germaine L. (George) Davis of Cape Girardeau.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Joshua Busche, and sister, Sharon Dean Young.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8 at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Neal Kinsey officiating. Burial will follow at Lorimier Cemetery.
